This story is another update on the accident that claimed the life of Whitesboro Police Officer Kevin Crossley.

Crossley died while in an on-duty crash that occurred in the village of Whitesboro on Wednesday night.

A GoFundMe account has been set up to help his family.

According to the page, he is survived by his parents, brother, girlfriend, and many friends.

Crossley was a 34-year-old lifetime resident of Whitesboro, and he joined their police department in 2011.

So far, a total of $6,075 has been raised. The goal is to raise $50,000 for the family.

The funeral arrangements for Crossley have not been set yet. Dimbleby Funeral Home will be handling the arrangements, and state officials will meet today to discuss the logistics.
