Autistic Man from New York Died in Van

New York, NY July 27, 2010 – An autistic man was found dead in a van as he was left alone in the scorching heat.

He was later on identified as 20-year-old Brian Nevins who hailed from New York. This incident happened outside a residential home in Langhorne, Pennsylvania wherein people having different disabilities are taken care of.

Middletown Township police have said that Nevins was left unaccompanied for five hours inside the van on the Woods Services campus after a trip to Sesame Place.

Nevins was the son of a retired New York City police officer who lived in Queens earlier. The Bucks County coroner has said that the death was due to hypothermia.

The driver was immediately suspended but no charges have been filed against him as the investigation was still going on.

On 17th of November, a 17-year-old tenant of Woods died as two cars hit him when he fell from the highway bridge. That Death was ruled as an accident.
