A man has been arrested for drunk driving as well as leaving the scene of an accident. The accident in question happened on Thursday morning.

According to Rochester Police, the man hit a car close to the intersection of Upper Falls Boulevard and St. Paul Street at around 1:45 in the morning. This caused one of the cars to hit into a utility pole on the side of the road.

The police have said that the man attempted to drive away and flee the scene. A woman in the other car followed him, and he was then arrested by police.

The name of the person arrested has not been released at this time.
