Police Officer, Kevin Crossley, Killed in Car Accident

The Whitestown Police Department has reported that a police officer was killed in a Wednesday crash that involved two vehicles. This incident happened in Whitesboro. The officer who was killed in the crash was Kevin Crossley. The incident happened on Oriskany Boulevard.

The New York State Police said that accident occurred at about 8 at night. The two vehicles involved collided while at the intersection of Oriskany Boulevard and Westmoreland Street.

A patrol car was hit by the driver of a Chevy Avalanche. The police officer was taken to St. Elizabeth’s where he was pronounced dead. The driver, who has not been identified yet, was taken to St. Luke’s Hospital with minor injuries.

The State Police are still investigating this incident. A press conference will be held today, and as details become more available we will let you know.
