Three People Injured in Brooklyn by Falling Scaffolding

On Saturday, April 14, a falling scaffolding that encircled a Brooklyn Heights building came crashing down. This resulted in injury to three people who were walking by. This information comes from officials who were at the scene at the time.

The scaffolding was in the process of being taken down when it fell outside of a Starbucks coffee shop near the entrance to the Borough Hall train station. This is at the corner of Court and Joralemon Sts. The incident happened at around 11 in the morning.

The beams took out a corner traffic signal as they were falling and then hit three people, officials from the FDNY said.

The injuries are said to be minor.

Two of the victims were taken to New York Methodist Hospital for treatment.
