An Accident is Causing Delays on Outerbridge
On April 10, an accident occurred in Staten Island that caused traffic delays. A Staten-Island bound accident caused a fifteen minute delay on the Outerbridge Crossing. This information came from the Port Authority who posted about it on Twitter.
The tweet said, “The Outerbridge Crossing to NY is experiencing a delay of 15 minutes due to an accident blocking the High Speed EZ-Pass lanes.”
According to a spokesperson with the FDNY, one person was taken to Staten Island University Hospital South Campus because they had minor injuries.
The accident caused delays for a time.
