On February 20, construction worker David Johnson lost his life when his body was crushed by a wall. His co-worker, Patrick Cobbs, incurred serious injuries due to the same wall collapse. The accident happened at a Jamaica construction site on 94th Avenue near Sutphin Boulevard. Man Charged in Crash that Killed Motorcyclist in 2017

Police have charged a man from Rome for a crash that happened on the New York State Thruway last year. This accident killed a motorcyclist. Everett L. Taylor, 23, is being charged with leaving the scene of a fatal accident as well as many other charged. The accident happened between Taylor who was in a 2008 Hyundai and the driver of the motorcycle, Joseph A. Perrotti from Utica. Perotti and his passenger were seriously injured and taken to the hospital. Perrotti died of his injuries on June 2, 2017. Police Identify Suspect in Hit-and-Run

On May 1 in Geneseo, Livingston County Sheriff’s Deputies have identified the driver of a vehicle that was involved in a hit-and-run that led to the death of one person. They have also said that the person is not yet in custody. They say that 54-year-old Valeri Belioutsa hit and killed Nicholas Iannarelli. Police Investigate Fatal Crash in New Castle

On April 30, the New York State Police were investigating a motor vehicle crash that happened on the Taconic State Parkway near Exit 8. This incident happened in the town of New Castle and involved a vehicle and a motorcycle. This occurred at around April 28 at 7 at night. The accident caused one person’s death.
