Update: Man Who Died in Trump Tower Fire Was Respected Art Dealer
This story is an update on a story we reported on last week.
Todd Brassner, the man who was killed in the Trump Tower fire, was well-known for having a kind heart and was also a respected art dealer.
He was a 67-year-old man who lived on the 50th floor of the Manhattan building. He died while at Mount Sinai St. Luke’s Hospital on Saturday night. He passed away a short while after being taken to the hospital in critical condition.
Fire marshals were at the building investigating the cause of the fire that broke out at around 5:30 in the evening. Six firefighters were also treated for minor burns and smoke inhalation. Their injuries were not life-threatening.
Brassner was well-known in the art scene.
The cause of the fire is still being looked into.
