Man Charged in Crash that Killed Motorcyclist in 2017

Police have charged a man from Rome for a crash that happened on the New York State Thruway last year. This accident killed a motorcyclist. Everett L. Taylor, 23, is being charged with leaving the scene of a fatal accident as well as many other charged. The accident happened between Taylor who was in a 2008 Hyundai and the driver of the motorcycle, Joseph A. Perrotti from Utica. Perotti and his passenger were seriously injured and taken to the hospital. Perrotti died of his injuries on June 2, 2017. Police Identify Suspect in Hit-and-Run

On May 1 in Geneseo, Livingston County Sheriff’s Deputies have identified the driver of a vehicle that was involved in a hit-and-run that led to the death of one person. They have also said that the person is not yet in custody. They say that 54-year-old Valeri Belioutsa hit and killed Nicholas Iannarelli. The accident happened on Saturday morning while Nicholas was walking on Route 63 near Court Street. He was wearing dark clothing at the time of the incident. In Shirley, Long Island, police are still looking into a crash that left a pedestrian in critical condition. The crash was a hit-and-run accident. This incident occurred at about 2:30 in the morning last Sunday on William Floyd Parkway near Flintlock Drive. Police said that a man was walking east across the parkway when he was hit by a vehicle going south. The victim was taken to a nearby hospital in critical condition. Suspect in Crash that Killed 5 Charged with 42 Counts

In Suffolk County, a man who was speeding in a stolen car and caused a chain-reaction crash that killed five people on Valentine’s Day has been charged with a 42-count Indictment. The suspect, Jamel Turner, is looking at five counts of depraved indifference murder and aggravated vehicular homicide. His indictment includes 37 felony charges. In Brooklyn, one person was killed and another person was seriously injured after being hit by an SUV. This accident happened on Tuesday afternoon at Avenue U and Gerritsen Avenue. According to officials, a black SUV went out of control and hit pedestrians as well as other cars. An 85-year-old woman was killed in the accident. Man Fatally Struck in Queens While Crossing Street

Police Are looking for a driver who caused a hit-and-run accident that led to one fatality. This accident occurred in Queens on Sunday. Police responded to a call at around 12:40 in the morning. The call said a pedestrian had been hit at Hillside Avenue and 153rd Street. Police found a 54-year-old man unconscious with severe trauma over his body. He was pronounced dead at the scene. Three people have died and at least three others are being listed in critical condition after a fire that started at a home in Queens on Saturday night. The fire started at around midnight on 93-20 211th Street in Queens Village. The fire spread through the two-story house. FDNY crews helped 11 individuals get out of the house, and they were taken to local hospitals. This information comes from the police. Man Dead in Geneseo Hit-and-Run

This Saturday, a man in his 20s died in a hit-and-run that happened early in the morning in Geneseo. The Livingston County Sheriff’s Office posted on their Facebook page that the accident happened on Route 63 south of Court Street. This places the accident west of SUNY Geneseo’s campus. Route 63 was closed from the 63/20a to Court Street for many hours as an investigation was going on. The road reopened at around 9 in the morning.
