Police have charged a man from Rome for a crash that happened on the New York State Thruway last year. This accident killed a motorcyclist. Everett L. Taylor, 23, is being charged with leaving the scene of a fatal accident as well as many other charges. The accident happened between Taylor who was in a 2008 Hyundai and the driver of the motorcycle, Joseph A. Perrotti from Utica. Perotti and his passenger were seriously injured and taken to the hospital. Perrotti died of his injuries on June 2. Construction Worker died in Scaffolding Accident

A 38-year-old man, Miguel Rodriguez died in a scaffolding accident at the Morningside Heights construction site on Thursday. The victim fell five stories to his death when his scaffolding collapsed. He was wearing a safety harness, but it was not tethered to the building. In Brooklyn, one person was killed and another person was seriously injured after being hit by an SUV. This accident happened on Tuesday afternoon at Avenue U and Gerritsen Avenue. Police Identify Suspect in Hit-and-Run

On May 1 in Geneseo, Livingston County Sheriff’s Deputies have identified the driver of a vehicle that was involved in a hit-and-run that led to the death of one person. They have also said that the person is not yet in custody. They say that 54-year-old Valeri Belioutsa hit and killed Nicholas Iannarelli. In Shirley, Long Island, police are still looking into a crash that left a pedestrian in critical condition. The crash was a hit-and-run accident. This incident occurred at about 2:30 in the morning last Sunday on William Floyd Parkway near Flintlock Drive. Suspect in Crash that Killed 5 Charged with 42 Counts

In Suffolk County, a man who was speeding in a stolen car and caused a chain-reaction crash that killed five people on Valentine’s Day has been charged with a 42-count Indictment. The suspect, Jamel Turner, is looking at five counts of depraved indifference murder and aggravated vehicular homicide. His indictment includes 37 felony charges.
