Pedestrian in Tribeca Hit by Falling Scaffolding

In Tribeca in Manhattan, a pedestrian was hit by a piece of falling debris. This incident happened on Friday afternoon. According to authorities, a piece of scaffolding fell off of an office high-rise. The building was located at 101 Barclay Street, and the accident happened at around 2:15 in the afternoon. A pedestrian on the sidewalk was hit by the falling debris. The victim suffered injuries that were not life-threatening, and they were taken to Bellevue Hospital to be treated for their injuries. Update: 1 Worker, 2 Pedestrians Hit in Scaffolding Collapse

This story is an update on a story from earlier today. This is a new and developing story. Three people were hurt when a 20-foot section of scaffolding fell onto a Brooklyn sidewalk. Crews were working on taking apart large metal rods and panels at around 11 in the morning on Saturday when the scaffolding collapse near Brooklyn Borough Hall. The scaffolding hit one worker and two pedestrians and caused injury to all three of them. Three People Injured in Brooklyn by Falling Scaffolding

On Saturday, April 14, a falling scaffolding that encircled a Brooklyn Heights building came crashing down. This resulted in injury to three people who were walking by. This information comes from officials who were at the scene at the time. Family of Man Crushed by Hoist Mechanism in Brooklyn to File Lawsuit

The family of a man who died after he was crushed by a hoist mechanism last week is starting the process of filing a lawsuit. This information comes from Attorney Mark Bernstein. Young-Kil Sim was delivering shopping bags to KP Farm Market which is located on Nostrand Avenue in East Flatbush. While doing so, a jury-rigged elevator that was being operated by two workers came crashing down and hit him on the head. Falling Debris in Soho Causes Injury

Last month, two pedestrians were walking in Soho then there were hit by falling debris from a fire escape. They suffered life-threatening injuries because of the incident. They were hit by a metal fire-escape step that fell seven stories. The victims were a 27-year-old woman and a 56-year-old man. On April 4, 2018, a young child was knocked unconscious when a street sign fell and landed on his head. The child was only 6-years-old and was outside of Madison Square Garden when the incident happened. According to sources, the accident happened late on Wednesday afternoon.
