Saratoga County Sheriff’s deputies have been investigating a car accident that led to the death of a pedestrian. This accident happened on March 27, 2018.

The pedestrian who was killed was Nancy H. Berlin, a 77-year-old resident of Clifton Park. She was hit while walking on Main Street in Jonesville. The accident happened at about 7:30 p.m. The driver was in a 2008 Toyota Prius. The driver was Victor A Temple of Clifton Park. This information comes from a press release that the sheriff’s office sent out.

Berlin was pronounced dead on arrival at Ellis Hospital. The police have stated that it was an error on the part of the pedestrian that led to the collision.

The investigation is still continuing, but, so far, drugs and alcohol are not suspected in this case. Witnesses also say that speeding wasn’t a factor.
