Bay Ridge, NY (August 25, 2026) – Three teenagers were killed, and four other people were hospitalized after two cars collided on the Belt Parkway in Brooklyn, police said.
Officers received a call at 11:35 p.m. about a collision at the Belt Parkway and 65th Street near Exit 1 in Bay Ridge.
A preliminary investigation revealed that a black Cadillac carrying five people was traveling eastbound, according to police. The Cadillac collided with a black Honda that was occupied by two women.
Three people in the Cadillac, ages 16, 17 and 18, were killed. The other two, ages 16 and 18, are stable at the hospital, according to police.
Officers said the 47-year-old driver and 43-year-old passenger in the Honda are also stable at the hospital.
The parkway was partially shut down after the crash on the night of August 25 and has since reopened. There have been no arrests, and law enforcement is continuing to investigate.
