Deadly Car Crash Kills One on Utica Avenue

An elderly woman was killed on March 15th, 2018 when a driver backed up and ran over her on Utica Avenue. According to police, the accident occurred at around 9:28 p.m. A 71-year-old man was driving a Cadillac sedan in reverse. He was doing so near Avenue L. While driving in reverse, he hit a Chevrolet Equinox that was parked. The Equinox then hit the 75-year-old woman. She was not in a vehicle at the time. The driver then hit another parked car.
