NYC DOT Worker Killed After Being Struck by Car

On April 4th, a New York City Department of Transportation worker was hit by a car on that Wednesday morning. The accident led to the man’s death. This incident occurred in the Bronx. According to sources, the accident happened at around 10:30 in the morning off the southbound Hutchinson River Parkway near Exit 5 in Baychester. The victim was George Staab, a 57-year-old many from Shirley. He was taken to nearby Jacobi Medical Center where he was pronounced dead.
