8-year-old Fatally Hit by Minivan in Bronx

In the Bronx, an 8-year-old boy was hit by a minivan while being taken home from school on Monday night. The boy was killed in the accident. The police are calling this incident a heartbreaking accident. The accident occurred in the 900 block of East 215th Street at around 6 in the evening. The child has been identified as Cellou Daiollo. According to officials, a family friend was backing the van up when the child was hit.
