Family of Man Crushed by Hoist Mechanism in Brooklyn to File Lawsuit

The family of a man who died after he was crushed by a hoist mechanism last week is starting the process of filing a lawsuit. This information comes from Attorney Mark Bernstein. Young-Kil Sim was delivering shopping bags to KP Farm Market which is located on Nostrand Avenue in East Flatbush. While doing so, a jury-rigged elevator that was being operated by two workers came crashing down and hit him on the head.
