Update on Victims of East River Helicopter Crash
There has been an update on the victims of a helicopter crash that we reported on earlier in the week. The accident occurred when a helicopter crashed into the East River. There were five fatalities, but the pilot lived.
Trevor Cadigan was in the helicopter with his friend Brian McDaniel. They were both 26-years-old. Among the people who passed away, the oldest person was only 34.
Carla Vallejos Blanco, a 29-year-old from Argentina. She was visiting New York with a friend who decided not to go on the flight. Two other men were killed. Tristan Hill, a 29-year-old, and Daniel Thompson, 34-year-old.
The sole survivor of the crash was pilot Richard Vance, a 33-year-old. He cried out engine failure and sent out a mayday call as the helicopter began to go down.
The traffic accident claimed the lives of 5 out of the 6 people who were on the flight.
