Update on Police Officer Killed in Car Crash

The Whitestown Police Department has released the name of the Oneida County officer who was killed in a car accident Wednesday night. Kevin Crossley, the victim, was a part-time officer.
The department posted at 8:30 a.m. that he was the person who died in the accident.
The post said, “Officer Kevin Crossley who was working in the Village of Whitesboro was killed in a 2 car motor vehicle accident on Oriskany Blvd. Our thoughts and prayers go out to his family, friends and coworkers, we will miss you brother…”
New York State police say a Chevy Avalanche hit into the patrol car.
The crash is still being investigated, and the cause of the accident and what happened is not known.
