Update: Hit-and-Run Kills Cyclist in Bronx

A hit-and-run driver who was in a box truck hit and killed a bicyclist who was pedaling next to the vehicle.
This happened on Monday In the Bronx.
The white box truck was going south on Webster Avenue near the Cross Bronx Expressway in the Tremont area. This occurred on Monday at 10:40.
The driver of the truck was trying to make a right turn to get on the ramp to the expressway. As he turned, he hit the cyclist and knocked the man onto the road.
The driver of the truck did not stop and was seen going south on I-95. This information came from witnesses at the scene.
The victim was taken to Bronx Lebanon Hospital where he passed away.
Cops were looking at surveillance video and hoping to track down the vehicle.
It is not clear if the driver knew he had hit someone.
