One person has died and four other people have been injured after a fire that happened at Trump Tower in Manhattan on Saturday evening. This information comes from the New York City Fire Department.

The person who passed away was a resident of the building and lived on the 50th floor. They were taken to the hospital in critical condition, according to department spokeswoman Angelic Conroy.

Firefighters arrived at the scene at around 5:30 in the evening, and the casualty was reported about three hours after this.

At about 8:30 p.m., firefighters announced that they had the fire under control.
