Auburn Pedestrian, Kylle L. Hopkins, Seriously Injured After Being Hit By Car

This story is recent as it was reported on Saturday, April 14, 2018. A 26-year-old pedestrian had to be airlifted to Upstate University Hospital after he was hit by a car. This happened at 10:10 at night on Friday.

According to the police, Kylle L. Hopkins, 26-years-old, was walking through an intersection at Genesee and Columbus. He was hit by a vehicle being driven by Doris M. Ramsperger, a 60-year-old from Auburn.

According to the police, the accident was Hopkins’ fault. So, the operator of the vehicle was not ticketed for the incident.

It appears the injuries Hopkins received were not life-threatening. A landing zone for a helicopter was made at a business on Orchard Street, and Hopkins was airlifted from there.
