Buffalo Police Officer Involved in Fatal Accident, One Woman Dead
On March 31, 2018, a Buffalo Police officer was headed to a call and on the way, he was involved in a crash that ended up killing a woman in the North Buffalo area. The Buffalo Police have called in the New York State Police to help them investigate the crash.
This accident occurred at around 6:30 a.m. on Friday and happened on Hertel Avenue and Tennyson Avenue.
According to the police, a veteran of the fore was headed down the road and responding to a call on Starin Avenue.
The victim has been identified as Susan Lotempio, a 64-year-old woman.
The details of where the woman was walking when she was hit by the cop car could not be determined. An investigation into the details of this accident is still ongoing. The accident caused the road to be shut down for a few hours.
