Man From Milton Recovers After Life-Altering Crash
A Milton man is up and running again after an accident that changed his life. Maxwell Curtiss is now able to run along the Burlington waterfront again. He is a 26-year-old man from Milton whose life was changed after he was hit by a driver while riding his bicycle. He suffered a broken hand and a fractured skull and was in a coma for 10 days following the accident.
The accident occurred last summer, and it was just like any other day. Just after 8:30 at night, he was hit by a driver at the intersection of Route 7 and Lake Road. He was rushed to the hospital and listed in critical condition.
Accidents like this come out of nowhere, and they can change your life. But, luckily for Curtiss, he has been able to take the long road to recovery and is now able to enjoy the activities he has always loved like biking and running.
