Staten Island, NY (July 13, 2026) – Six people were taken to Richmond University Medical Center after a crash involving a school bus on the Staten Island Expressway, the New York City Fire Department confirmed.
The crash occurred in the westbound lanes near Slosson Avenue/Exit 12 at around 1:35 p.m. on July 13, 2026. The FDNY confirmed the response but released no information on the ages or conditions of those hospitalized.
The school bus sustained significant front-end damage in the collision. A gray vehicle also involved in the crash had damage to both its front and rear.
