Man Charged in Crash that Killed Motorcyclist

Police have charged a man from Rome for a crash that happened on the New York State Thruway last year. This accident killed a motorcyclist. Everett L. Taylor, 23, is being charged with leaving the scene of a fatal accident as well as many other charges. The accident happened between Taylor who was in a 2008 Hyundai and the driver of the motorcycle, Joseph A. Perrotti from Utica. Perotti and his passenger were seriously injured and taken to the hospital. Perrotti died of his injuries on June 2. Motorcyclist Critically Injured in Crash

A New York motorcyclist was severely hurt in a crash that happened on Route 7 going Southbound on Monday night of April 30. Nathan Spiro from Bedford was driving south on Route 7 when he lost control of his motorcycle. The police report that two other vehicles were involved in the accident. The vehicles included a 2014 Jeep Compass Latitude that was being driven by Jorge Rodriguez-Novascatala and a 2007 Prius that was being driven by Kathleen Sophia Abouzeide.
