An update on a crash reported on yesterday has come in. The police say that two people have been arrested after a car crash that happened on Long Island. The crash occurred near the JFK airport and left two people dead and five other people injured.

Police were inspecting a car that had been nearly completely burned out. This investigation happened on Wednesday morning, and they were looking at one of the five vehicles that was involved in the crash which happened at around 2 a.m. on the Nassau Expressway.

Passengers were trapped inside this car as it went up in flames, and five other people were seriously injured and had to be rushed to local hospitals.

The two people who were arrested were in two different vehicles.

As of now, the cause of the crash is still unclear. The identities of the two people who died haven’t been realized yet. Nassau County police are handling the case with the help of the NYPD.
