Update: Shirley Hit-and-Run Crash
In Shirley, Long Island, police are still looking into a crash that left a pedestrian in critical condition. The crash was a hit-and-run accident.
This incident occurred at about 2:30 in the morning last Sunday on William Floyd Parkway near Flintlock Drive.
Police said that a man was walking east across the parkway when he was hit by a vehicle going south.
The victim was taken to a nearby hospital in critical condition. His identity has not yet been released.
