In Shirley, Long Island, police are still looking into a crash that left a pedestrian in critical condition. The crash was a hit-and-run accident.

This incident occurred at about 2:30 in the morning last Sunday on William Floyd Parkway near Flintlock Drive.

Police said that a man was walking east across the parkway when he was hit by a vehicle going south.

The victim was taken to a nearby hospital in critical condition. His identity has not yet been released.

We are waiting or information about this accident. The Suffolk County Detectives are still investigating. We will give you more information once it is known.
