The father of a girl who died in a house fire in Oneida County in January has filed a notice of claim against the village and the volunteer hose company. The father’s lawyer said on Tuesday that if a different dispatch call had been made that possibly Taylor Melanie and Heather, her mother, would be alive today. An elderly couple suffered from minor injuries after they hit their car into the front of an apartment building. This happened in Westchester County last Thursday. Their Honda Accord hit the front of Building B at the Scarsdale Ridge Apartments at 344 Central Park Avenue. This happened in Greenburgh at around 2 in the afternoon. 2 Teenagers Accused of Starting Fire in Auburn

Two teenagers have been arrested and charged because of a large fire that caused damage to a vacant building on Perrine Street in Auburn. The police said witnesses saw the teenagers leaving the building just before the fire was reported. The teenage boys, both of them from Auburn, were found on Clark Street Road. In the Bronx, an 8-year-old boy was hit by a minivan while being taken home from school on Monday night. The boy was killed in the accident.
