Teen From Long Island Dead After Upstate Crash
A high school teenager from Long Island was killed in a car accident that happened outside of Albany. The victim was 17-year-old Anthony Pagano. He was driving southbound on I-87 when the accident happened. Anthony was a baseball player from St. Anthony’s High School in South Huntington, and he played varsity. Police say his car burst into flames and that he was pronounced dead at a local hospital from blunt force trauma to the head. He had a passenger in the car who was not injured.
