Construction Worker Dies after Hit-and-Run

A construction worker is dead 8 months after a hit-and-run accident in Queens. The victim was Lorenzo Anderson. He was hit in Queens, and the driver is still on the loss. The driver of the car was filming a music video at the time. He was driving a Mercedes on 36th Avenue near 12th Street. The accident occurred at 10:45 p.m. The driver of the year then ditched the Mercedes. Anderson, the victim, died in a Bronx nursing home on March 19. Construction Workers Honored on 10-Year Anniversary

In March, six construction workers who died in a fatal crane collapse were honored at a 10-year-anniversary ceremony in Midtown. The families and friends of the six construction workers gathered together to mark the anniversary of the event and to remember and honor their loved ones. Construction Worker in Brooklyn Rescued

In February, a rescue crew pulled a man to safety after a collapse happened at a construction site in Brooklyn. This happened in late February. The accident happened on the 4000 block of Rutland Road in the Wingate section at around 12:30 in the afternoon.
