Police Are looking for a driver who caused a hit-and-run accident that led to one fatality. This accident occurred in Queens on Sunday.

Police responded to a call at around 12:40 in the morning. The call said a pedestrian had been hit at Hillside Avenue and 153rd Street.

Police found a 54-year-old man unconscious with severe trauma over his body. He was pronounced dead at the scene. The man has been identified as Azeemuddin Jalaluddin.

The early investigation found that a Honda Pilot was traveling west when it struck a pedestrian who was attempting to cross the street.

The driver fled the scene. The police are still investigating this accident. If more information becomes available, we will keep you posted.
