Further reporting on the important study done on workplace safety in New York has found that there were 222 deaths in the Greater New York Metro area related to workplace accidents. This information is from 2016. This is the same number of fatalities related to workplace accidents in the prior year. This information comes from the United States Bureau of Labor Statistics. Construction worker fatalities are on the rise in New York. These fatalities are continuing to rise as rampant safety violations continue to be a problem. This information comes from an annual report that was released by the New York Committee for Occupational Safety and Health.
