In late March, a pedestrian was killed in an accident involving a hit-and-run driver. This incident happened in the Bronx and one other person was also hurt in the incident, the cops said. On April 11, three people were injured in Brooklyn in a fire. This happened when a four-alarm fire went through a home on Wednesday afternoon. Last week, a man was killed in an industrial accident that happened on Sunday morning. The incident occurred in Colonie, New York, at TNT Landscaping and Excavating. The Orchard Park Police got many calls last weekend about a vehicle that was crashing into parked cars on Lake Avenue east of Abbot Road. Many other callers reported to the police that the driver fled from the scene and that he was heading eastbound. The Buffalo Police Department has identified the man who died in a crash that occurred last Wednesday night. The death happened during a pursuit by the police officers of Buffalo of another man who was not the victim. The man, Keith A. Mixon, Jr., was from Buffalo and was 26-years-old. This summer the New York MTA is planning to pilot a mobile system that will help their employees document traffic issues and infrastructure issues in real time. This chatbot pilot project is being called the Collision Accident Reporting System (CARS). This story is an update on the bus crash we reported on earlier this week. The driver of the bus was from out of state. He was driving a charter bus full of high school students when he crashed into an overpass on a Long Island Parkway.
