Two NYC Transit Workers Killed in One Week

An update on a story we reported on earlier. A New York City transit worker was killed in late March while at a bus depot in Queens. The victim was Stephen Livecchi. He is a 59-year-old man. He was directing traffic at the depot at around 10 in the morning when the bus operation ran over him. The bus operator failed to see the man while he was driving in reverse. A collision that occurred in Lansing, New York, has sent three people to the hospital. The collision occurred on Thursday morning on Route 13 in Lansing. On April 4th, a New York City Department of Transportation worker was hit by a car on that Wednesday morning. The accident led to the man’s death. This incident occurred in the Bronx.
