Update: Driver of Mercedes Arrested After Crash

We are here with another update on the crash that injured at least eight people. This crash happened in Brooklyn on Friday night. The cops have arrested a drunk driver in connection with the incident. The incident left eight people hospitalized and at least two of those people had serious injuries. The man being charged is David Olivier, 27-years-old. He is facing drunk driving charges for the Friday night accident that involved three vehicles and injured pedestrians, too. He was driving his Mercedes and speeding down Flatbush Avenue when the accident occurred. Officials say he rear-ended a 2015 BMW, and then he went further out of control and drove on a sidewalk, slamming into four men. Medics took the four pedestrians to Kings County Hospital. MTA Officer Going to Trial for Striking Pedestrian

An MTA Bridges and Tunnels officer is going to trial after being indicted for allegedly striking a pedestrian while on duty and then dropping him off in Staten Island. His court date is set for May. The hearings are being held for Lawrence Ffrench, a 43-year-old, who is being held without bail. He has been appearing in court since June 2017 for the alleged hit and run incident. He is being accused of striking a 41-year-old man near the corner of 92nd Street and Gatling Place. The man was thrown in the air and sustained serious injuries. Ffrench was an MTA officer who was on-duty at the time. It is alleged that he then picked up the victim and put him in the back of his MTA vehicle. RTS Bus Passengers Seriously Injured in Crash

Passengers who were on an RTS bus suffered from minor injuries after an SUV crashed into the bus. This accident happened at the corner of Plymouth and Allen and happened on Saturday. The Rochester Police Department responded to the area of Plymouth Avenue and Allen Street at around 7 in the morning. They found a dark SUV that had failed to stop and had struck the northbound bus. On Saturday, April 14, a falling scaffolding that encircled a Brooklyn Heights building came crashing down. This resulted in injury to three people who were walking by. This information comes from officials who were at the scene at the time. Update: More Details on Whitesboro Crash that Killed Police Officer Kevin Crossley

Continuing the updates on the Whitesboro crash that claimed the life of Officer Kevin Crossley, the Whitesboro Police Department has now held their joint news conference. The conference happened at state police barracks in Marcy and was done to give more information on the crash. New York State Police and the Whitesboro Police Department held the conference together. Crossley was traveling east on Oriskany Boulevard when the accident occurred. A vehicle being driven by Nicole Moshier-Harris of Whitesboro was heading westbound. SHe attempted to turn left onto Westmoreland Street, and her vehicle hit Crossley’s patrol car.
