This update is from a story we reported on earlier this week. The Harlem building that was severely damaged in a five-alarm fire will be torn down. This fire led to the death of one firefighter. This information comes from the Department of Buildings. Demolition on the building located on 773 Nicholas Ave has started. The building was a five-story building that was being used as a movie set for a film called “Motherless Brooklyn.” The film is being directed by Edward Norton. Deadly Crash Ruled Pedestrian Error
A deadly accident involving a pedestrian and a vehicle that happened in late March was ruled a pedestrian accident. This accident happened in Jonesville, New York. Fire in Schenectady Displaces Residents
A fire that happened on April 10, 2018, in Schenectady, New York, displaced residents of an apartment building. Residents of the building that was located on Albany Street had to flee from the fire.
