Police Identify Ashley N. Schmidt as Motorcyclist who Died in Crash

The Niagara Falls Police Department has identified the 32-year-old woman from Grand Island who died on Sunday night. She died after she was ejected from her motorcycle. The woman, Ashley N. Schmidt, lost control of the motorcycle she was driving at around 8:20 in the evening, according to police. This occurred on Ferry Avenue near 19th Street. She hit the curb and was thrown from the bike. Schmidt was transported to Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center where she was later pronounced dead. The crash is still being looked into by police. Severe LaGrange Crash Being Investigated

The Dutchess County Sheriff’s Office is reporting that they are looking into a two-car crash that happened on Noxon Road near Vincent Road. This happened in the Town of LaGrange at around 7:20 in the morning on April 24. The crash was reported to be serious.
