On April 27, three people were injured in a car crash that involved a car and a van hitting head-on. This happened in Orleans County. This accident occurred on Route 104 near Gaines-Waterport Road in the Town of Gaines. The incident specifically occurred at around 8:30 on Thursday night. 3 Hurt in Phillipstown Accident

Three people were injured in an accident on April 18 that occurred on Route 9 in Phillipstown. This was a head-on collision. The New York State Police identified the victims as Margaret A. Tornowsky and Thomas N. Tornowsky of Croton. The other victim was Terrence M. Jones of Wappinger. They reported that the vehicle the Tornowsky’s were in was going south and failed to keep right. Witness at Clifton Park Crash Speaks

A motorist who called 911 before a crash happened last Friday night first saw the truck near the Edison Club on Riverview Road. She saw that the truck was going all over the road. Her husband was driving, and she updated the dispatchers about the location of the truck as they followed the truck. She was telling the 911 operator that she thought he was going to kill someone because of his erratic driving. This story is an update on a story we reported on earlier this week. A Geneva firefighter had to be airlifted to the hospital after suffering from a heart issue. This occurred while he was fighting a house fire in Seneca County on Monday night. This information came from volunteer firefighters. Firefighters were fighting the fire outside the home which was located at 31 Moore Street in Border City. While doing so, the firefighter was having heart issues. Two People Arrested for DWIs in Putnam County

Two people have been arrested for DWIs in Putnam County. Putnam County Sheriff Robert L. Langley, Jr. reported that a 40-year-old woman from Danbury and a 33-year-old man from Shrub Oak were arrested for driving while drunk. This happened on April 21 at around 2:30 in the morning. Sergeant Timothy Keith arrested Karla C. Gnomes in the Town Southeast. She was arrested after she could be seen driving erratically. Three People Charged with Setting Gloversville Fire

The Gloversville Police Department has arrested three teens and charged them with arson. This is in connection with a fire that burned down the former JBF Mill. All three of the teens have been charged with fourth-degree arson. This is a class E felony. They have also been charged with first-degree reckless endangerment which is a class D felony. Police are looking into a hit-and-run accident that happened in the Shirley area of Long Island in Suffolk County. This accident left a pedestrian with serious injuries. The accident happened at around 2:30 in the morning on Sunday at William Floyd Parkway near Flintlock Drive. Fire Damages Barns in Fleming

At 1 p.m. on April 24, progress was happening at the scene of a structure fire. This fire involved two barns and occurred on Silver Street Road in Fleming. Multiple fire departments were at the scene. This information comes from first responders. They said that the barns were full-involved when the crews got there to fight the fires. The State Police have now released more details concerning the fatal crash that led to the death of Officer Kevin Crossley earlier in this month. They say that he was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the incident. They have also said that the driver of the other car has been ticketed for failing to yield the right of way.
