The conference happened at state police barracks in Marcy and was done to give more information on the crash. New York State Police and the Whitesboro Police Department held the conference together. They will be testing this technology on the LIRR Port Washington line that runs from Woodside and Bayside. They are going to be doing this testing all throughout the month of April. Last week, a pedestrian was hit by a pickup truck in Cattaraugus County. The police officers have said that a male was walking east on Route 417 when the accident happened, and he was struck by a vehicle. This accident occurred in Kill Buck, New York.
