Two people have been arrested for DWIs in Putnam County. Putnam County Sheriff Robert L. Langley, Jr. reported that a 40-year-old woman from Danbury and a 33-year-old man from Shrub Oak were arrested for driving while drunk. This happened on April 21 at around 2:30 in the morning. Police are looking into a hit-and-run accident that happened in the Shirley area of Long Island in Suffolk County. This accident left a pedestrian with serious injuries.
