Man from Danbury Arrested For Tractor-Trailer Accident

In Bedford, New York, on April 27, police from the Somers barracks arrested Christopher R. Hillman for operating a motor vehicle while impaired by drugs as well as many other vehicle and traffic violations. Hillman is 29-years-old and from Danbury, Connecticut.

At around 10 in the morning, a New York Trooper was on a traffic stop on I-684 when Hillman was driving a tractor-trailer in the middle lane. He hit a Jetta ahead of him and then went to the right shoulder where he then hit the NYSP patrol car. He continued between the guide rail and the patrol car and hit a 2016 Chevy Colorado.

Hillman was arranged before the Town of Bedford Court. He is scheduled to appear before the court on May 2nd.
